Dr. Nash is a leading epidemiologist whose career has focused on infectious disease research and public health surveillance. His work spans over two decades of real‑world studies in U.S. and global settings, with particular emphasis on HIV. He directed the launch of innovative cohorts including the CHASING COVID Cohort Study tracking SARS‑CoV‑2 in 6,500 Americans and Project PROTECTS monitoring multiple respiratory pathogens. Recently selected as a 2025‑26 Fulbright‑Tocqueville Distinguished Chair, he has generated over 350 peer-reviewed publications influencing clinical guidelines and public health policy.
